Stephen Three years ago I bought a brand new Toyota 4Runner. I hadn't enough cash at the time and I didn't want to borrow money from my relatives or friends. And I didn't have much time to apply for a regular auto loan and wait for its approval. I was in a desperate situation. A friend of mine recommended me to apply for an auto title loan. I live in California and you can get this type of loan in California. It's fast and convenient. Of course, the rate was higher than with a regular loan, but I nee Read more...
Debra Huffman When I turned to WFS Financial I knew there were two options for me to get a car loan. I could apply either for secured or unsecured loan. The difference was in rates. Secured loan was less risky for the lender (WFS); consequently the rates were much lower than with unsecured loan. I leant towards the first option and I had to offer something for repossession in case I would fail to pay off the loan. I could offer the car I was planning to buy or my house, but I didn't feel myself comfortable wi Read more...

Sandra J. I had to make a choice between a brand new car and a few years old one, but in a good shape. I had to options to finance my acquisition: personal loan and car purchase plan. Personal loan was suitable for a used car, while the second option would be great for a brand new vehicle. After careful consideration I bought a used car, because it gave me eight thousand dollars difference in price, with only a few thousand mileage. And WFS financed me. Read more...

AVY JOHNSON WFS is an absolutely awful company, they have been paid since I had my loan on time. And for some reason they still manage to have a continual late payment showing. They sent some clown in dirty clothing to my house to ask for a key on a car that payments had been made i don't suggest this company for anyone. they are awful!!! Read more...

Philip Cockrail I think it is worth to try to get a pre-approved loan. Thus you can save some money. But you have to make sure your credit report is good enough for your lender. Check it thoroughly, because mistakes can be made. And there is a mistake; it may affect your loan. Read more...

Stacy I had nothing but GREAT service from this lender until Wachovia bank bought them a couple of years ago. I had even fallen behind and their loan department would call me to see what we could work out every month, they even helped me process a one-time payment deferral, which most lenders will NOT tell you this option is available. After the bank was bought by Wachovia, I've had nothing but RUDE calls at my home and work even if I'm just a few days past the due date. One agent even called me l Read more...
Bill Jacobs I had a bad credit and had to take an auto loan with wfs financial. However, my application wasn't approved and I had no choice other than to get financing from the auto dealer I was buying the car from. The downside was I had to pay out more interest, but monthly installments were reasonably low to cope with. If I were a member of a credit union this would help me much. I know that credit unions provide loans at more affordable rates and longer terms of pay off. Read more...
Lynney We took out a loan on a vehicle, and with wachovia, we owe more now than the origial price two years ago. We fell on hard times, and they called the President of my husbands company, and told him they were going to pick up the vehicle, and they called other people, and revealed we were late. They are argumentative when trying to pay up, they threaten on the answering machine, tell you to take the bus if you are in a rural area, than one representative was preaching at me... than one representa Read more...
Alex Santana Three years ago I borrowed some money from wfs financial for a new Toyota RAV4. I was buying the car in a dealership and they offered me an auto financing program. At the first sight it looked like a very attractive deal to me. However, nothing cheap is good. In fact it had one of the lowest monthly payment, but for a long term period. The overall payment was much higher than with a regular auto loan. And I made my decision towards wfs. They had quite a decent offer for me. Read more...
Mad as hell! They are doing almost the same to us. They have said that we are 3 months late and will not acceptanymore payments from us, they have threatened to repo our car over and over again even when it is only 2 days into the grace period. They do not care about YOU at all. They create the late payment scenerio, that is true. Read more...
