I have been trying to get a duplicate lien release/title for our 2000 Dodge Dakota, which was paid off a few years ago. I have lost the title with the lien release and we have donated the truck and they can't get a title for it because the State of Texas still lists WFS as the lienholder. I have called WFS customer service several times and the operator always confirms the loan was paid off, and states they will send another on in the mail within 48 hours. I am being offered a '98 Ford Mustang VIN number #1FAFP40430WF241210. They are asking me to pick up the vehicle as quickly as possible because it has been sitting on their lot for 6 years. I've done preliminary research and found out your company has a lien on the vehicle. I would like to know what it would take to remove the lien and obtain the title.
